On Sunday November 25th the Ballyhoura Bears and Galtee Walking clubs had a joint walk on the Galtee mountains, starting at Cush car park. 23 walkers took part in this 6 hour A walk. It was a warm, dry morning with cloud on the mountain. There were three options available to the walkers. The majority opted for the full circuit, Galteemore, Galteebeg, Loughlin's Castle and onto Farbreaga. There was no visibility and strong winds on top with no rain but dampness in the cloud.
